The band program at Coon Rapids High School is part of a comprehensive music program that includes three bands, three orchestras, five choirs, two jazz bands, pep band, United Sound, and marching band.

Musical opportunities are also found in areas such as pit orchestra for the spring musical, solo and ensemble performances, and the annual “Beats and Treats” spring concert that allows students to showcase individual and group talent.

Marching band is part of the Coon Rapids High School curriculum, although members rehearse outside of school time, especially in the summer and fall seasons. It is supported by parent involvement in the CRHS Band Boosters, our parents' Group.

The Coon Rapids Band Boosters consist of the parents within the Band program at Coon Rapids High school. They primarily support the Marching Band, but also help with other Band events throughout the year.
